DESCRIPTION:  \nVOCES de la Comunidad is a bilingual conference that brings together advocates\, artists\, survivors\, and professionals dedicated to supporting the Latine community impacted by domestic violence\, sexual assault\, and human trafficking. \nThis year’s conference will feature keynote speaker Emilly Prado\, author of Funeral for Flaca\, along with a special musical performance by Las Cafeteras. \nTogether\, we will reflect\, connect\, and reimagine survivor-centered practices rooted in culture and led by community. \nNow offering 7 CEUs through MHACBO!\nWorkshops will be offered in both Spanish and English\, with interpretation services available to ensure accessibility for all participants. \nCelebrate resilience. Honor lived experiences. Using traditional instruments like the jarana\, requinto\, quijada\, and tarima\, they honor cultural traditions while creating a modern sound. They sing in five languages—English\, Spanish\, Spanglish\, Love\, and Justice—believing everyone understands at least one. \n  \n  \n  \n\n  \nVolunteer\nBe part of an impactful and inspiring day! Volunteers are essential to creating a welcoming\, organized\, and engaging experience for everyone attending the VOCES de la Comunidad Conference.
