¡Viva la Vida! Walk & 5k Run
Gresham Main City Park 219 S Main Avenue, Gresham, OR, United StatesJoin El Programa Hispano for our first annual ¡Viva la Vida! Walk & 5K Run event! This event will bring the community together to engage in physical activity, connect with nature, and raise awareness about health disparities affecting Latine families. Proceeds from the event will go to support our Community Wellness and UNICA programs, which offer services to seniors 60 and older, families experiencing food insecurity, and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. Register Today! Event Day Information 8:30am: 1 Mile Route - ADA accessible and recommended for seniors and/or families with small children. 9:30am: 5K Walk & Run Route - Recommended for adults and youth 12 & older. The event will include informational booths, a kid's scavenger hunt, yoga and tai chi classes, raffle prizes, & more! Each ticket includes an event t-shirt, 1 raffle ticket, and refreshments. Fees range from $25+ and will all go towards supporting our programs and services! Children 12 and under can participate for free! Event Sponsorship Interested in becoming a sponsor? 2025 VOCES Conference
Glenn Otto Park 1102 E Historic Columbia River Hwy, Troutdale, United StatesOur 2025 VOCES de la Comunidad Conference aims to raise awareness on the impacts of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking within Latine communities by centering the voices of survivors and advocates as they share their experiences navigating system in search of support, resources, justice, and healing. We will also be joined by Latinx Parenting founder Leslie Priscilla, who will facilitate "Ending Chancla Culture: Decolonizing our Families and Raising Future Ancestors".
