As 2024 comes to an end, El Programa Hispano Católico (EPHC) celebrates the moments of light and joy we’ve experienced alongside our staff, partners, and participants. Our team continued to grow to over 115 employees serving nearly 30,000 individuals in the Portland metropolitan region with supportive services ranging from housing to energy assistance, school-based programming, senior services, and prevention, intervention and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
We would like to invite you to learn more about our programs and their impact in our community, as well as to support our work by making a tax deductible donation.
Thank you!
Community Wellness
Our Community Wellness programs include our Latine Senior Services that provide support and activities to help them stay independent, healthy, and avoid isolation. We also offer our Food Justice Program that fights food insecurity in East Multnomah County by offering culturally appropriate food through school-based food pantries and free food markets. And we offer free preventative medical and dental care through the Multnomah County Mobile Health Van every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.
Economic Sustainability
Our economic sustainability department focuses on providing support to families and individuals experiencing economic hardship. Through educational outreach and monetary relief, we help lift the barriers preventing them from thriving.
Since 2021, over 2 million dollars have been distributed in rental assistance. And in 2022, 96% of those families participating in our program are still housed.

Education
Our education department offers mentoring, youth advocacy, and after-school enrichment programs which help students to reengage with their education while embracing their culture and identity.
We also provide families with information and services necessary to reduce barriers and foster learning, leadership, and growth.
