    Our 2025 VOCES de la Comunidad Conference aims to raise awareness on the impacts of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking within Latine communities by centering the voices of survivors and advocates as they share their experiences navigating system in search of support, resources, justice, and healing. We will also be joined by Latinx Parenting founder Leslie Priscilla, who will facilitate "Ending Chancla Culture: Decolonizing our Families and Raising Future Ancestors".              Join advocates, survivors, artists, and service providers for a powerful gathering centered on healing, culture, and community. This year’s theme uplifts survivor voices and explores how art—through dance, poetry, visual arts, and music—can inspire healing, resistance, and transformation. VOCES de la Comunidad is a bilingual event. Workshop presentations will be presented in either Spanish or English. Interpretation services will be provided. Together, we will reflect, connect, and reimagine survivor-centered practices rooted in culture and led by community. Celebrate resilience. Honor lived experiences. The awards will be presented at our VOCES Conference on April 30, 2026. Submissions are now open! The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2026.   About Las Cafeteras Las Cafeteras, born and raised east of the Los Angeles River, blend roots music with Afro-Mexican rhythms, electronic beats, and powerful lyrics that reflect their community’s stories and vision for a more inclusive world. Using traditional instruments like the jarana, requinto, quijada, and tarima, they honor cultural traditions while creating a modern sound.
